Building a Subway: Token Booths

This is the standard token booth of the NYC subway system. At least one is present in all stations, with busier stations having two or three placed side-by-side, like this one here. Free-standing in two-level stations, you'll most likely place one against the wall of your model station, as this is standard placement for single-level underground stations.

Another similar token booth, this time viewed from the opposite side. The large bented bulge is the air conditioner, and the silver block on the near corner is a MetroCard reader for passengers to check the balance on their farecards.
