Here at Christopher Street/Sheridan Square, are two different arrangements of flourescent light fixtures. Notice how the ceiling alternates between light fixtures and public address speakers. Above the platform edge is a continuous row of flourescent lights. Not all stations are arranged like this, but all underground stations have flourescent lighting. This could be modeled with white LEDs shining into frosted strips of polycarbonate plastic. |
